He's a blue-yellow hybrid who's always following hunches and never giving up the trail. In this episode Frank and Peter are focusing on Joe Diamond, the private investigator.
He's pledged his life to save another's, dedicated to fighting against evil until the end of time. He can't escape the pact he made in the name of love. That's right, in this episode Frank and Peter are focusing on one investigator: Calvin Wright.

Join Frank for Think on your Feet XXIV, in which, in this between-series break, he takes on a special scenario with a couple of different decks.
In Think on your Feet episodes, a live play series of Arkham Horror: The Card Game, I endeavour not to edit much at all. Sometimes I cut some shuffling sounds or abbreviate some of my longer pauses (a chap's got to think!), but otherwise, it's uncut, unaltered and meant to feel like you're with me at the table. There may be mistakes and misplays, but hopefully some successes too.
At 35 minutes, I forget that enemies exhaust after they attack in the enemy phase, adding 2 doom when I should have added... ZERO! So quite punishing for me there. More generally I think my line of play at 30 minutes was wrong. I should've taken 2 resources and played Meat Cleaver, setting me up for tackling cultists more efficiently.

Join Peter and Frank as they discuss failure in Arkham Horror. From failing tests to failing a campaign, we look at the challenges of failure, the way we talk about the game more generally and the importance of looking at our failures as well as our successes.

At 1hr13, I get the Cosmos rules pretty mixed up; I misread Cosmic Gate and place it in the wrong place, and then don't move to it. Derp. By 1hr16, I work out my mistake! Then waaay later on, around the 2hr-something mark, I take four actions instead of three. Dammit! I was doing so well. I don't think it invalidates the playthrough, but it's a shame!

Join Frank and Peter for a different kind of episode: this episode was recorded in front of a digitally live audience of patrons of the cast. In it, your hosts talk about quarantine gaming, deckbuilding for Dexter and announce two new cards from the investigator starter decks. We've left pauses, ums, ahs and interaction with the audience in the cast, so it's meant to be a rough and ready affair. Enjoy!

Join Peter and Frank as they take a look at the newly announced investigator starter decks: Nathaniel Cho, Harvey Walters, Winifred Habbamock, Jacqueline Fine (!!) and Stella Clark. At 1hr 4minutes, I give myself two resources in upkeep (I jump from 6 to 8). I don't believe it has any impact on the rest of the scenario, but still... cheatz! And then I do it again right near the end (3 to 5!). What is going on? I'll tell you what: I'm busy chatting about what card's on the top of Norman's deck and not noticing giving myself resources on auto-pilot. Luckily, on neither occasion does it have an impact on what I could or couldn't play. But yeah!
